Visual medial intern

Project: EqualHealth is looking for an individual to work with our Outreach and Development Committee on a variety of visual media projects. These may include photographing EqualHealth events in Boston and in Haiti, filming interviews, video editing, and developing strategies to best use visual media to further EqualHealth’s mission.

Applicant: The ideal applicant will be creative, outgoing, comfortable in multicultural and multilingual settings, organized, and able to work independently. The applicant will have experience with photography, videography, and editing. The ideal applicant will be comfortable using Photoshop, other visual media programs such as InDesign, and must have access to these programs. Applicants must be based out of Boston, or able to commute for frequent meetings.

Internship Logistics: The internship will last for a period of one year. Time commitment will be approximately 5 hours per week, and interns will work largely independently. This is not a paid internship.

EqualHealth is committed to helping individuals attain their academic goals, and to that end we are willing to work with those currently enrolled in college or graduate programs to meet requirements for practicum or other commitments in terms of supervision, documentation and time requirements.
