Days of the week: Thursday

Dates: Oct 20-Dec 22 (no class thanksgiving weekend- total 9 weeks)

Time: 5:45-6:45pm (times subject to change class may start at 530 or 600pm depending on the day)

Location: TBD (BU Medical School / BMC Area)

Goal: This is meant for those who feel comfortable carrying on basic conversations in Haitian Creole or have taken the introductory course and would like to enhance their Haitian Creole skills. The topics that will be discussed include but are not limited to: Medical interviewing and role playing, Haitian children's books, understanding Haitian culture through discussion food,  communication through reading and writing, and discussion on Haitian news. This is meant to be a broad conversational course and will possibly include some reading/writing days.

This course is modified and changed every semester to allow for students who have take the course in the past to see different things if they elect to take the course again. This year, there we will be reading and discussing Haitian children's books. 

Course Fee: $103, donation to EqualHealth. Class materials/text provided free of charge. (Course cost $100 + $3 processing fee). This is a non-refundable donation to EqualHealth.
