Remembering Erick Mocher (1993-2017)
EqualHealth stands with the friends and family of medical student Erick Mocher.
A visionary never dies he is still alive through his works and his ideas.
That is mean Mocher Jean Erick is still alive in our minds and hearts.
At 22 years old would have been a medical intern, launching a career in service to others.
During his life on the earth he spent all his time fighting against prejudice, injustice, and discrimination even though he knew the consequences could be to his grave disadvantage.
In his honor, we hope that all young people will engage to change an unjust situation in their communities, as Erick modeled.
All youth who are practicing activism must keep fighting until we change situations of injustice.
Erick was very strong and he was living for his neighbors.
We can't be afraid of the struggle as long as we are alive.
